They often preach that gen 5 is the peak of the series and vilify every game that came after it. They hate on genwunners for their treatment of gen 1, despite the fact that they do the exact same thing with gen 5. Genfivers make up a large proportion of the pokémon fandom and you can find them across all forms of media screeching about how gen 5 was the greatest achievement in world history. They also never accept any criticism of gen 5, usually responding by deflecting the criticism onto another generation. All in all, they're very annoying, hypocritical and prone to close-minded thinking.
Person 1: Gen 5 was peak pokémon and every game after it is terrible!! I grew up with it and it has a special place in my heart! People hated gen 5 so much when it was released and it's so underrated! Gen 5 has the best pokédex, music, region, story, characters, and graphics!! These games are without flaw!!
Person 2: I mean, I agree that gen 5 is good, but without flaw? We all have different opinions, but I think gen 5 is lacking in terms of the new pokémon added, region design, and slow pacing during parts of the games. And I understand that many fans disliked the games at release, but calling gen 5 underrated by today's standards is pretty dishonest considering how beloved they are now.

Get the Generifag mug.Genevive is for some of the BEST people on earth! She is incredibly beautiful, funny, cute,smart, sweet, artistic, and loves nature! She is a great friend, she always listens to her friends no matter how stupid their stories are and tries to help them and always there for them. She is willing to do anything for the people she loves. She is also very artistic, and is great at painting, drawing, etc. Also did I mention she is HILARIOUS. Whenever someone is with a Genevive they can't stop laughing to the point where they can't breathe! She is super weird in the best way possible! And definitely should not be ashamed of that! Also, all the boys/girls love her and fall in love with her one of a kind personality. People are always in awe of her, because she accomplishes so much. GENEVIVE CAN DO ANYTHING! She is an amazing person but doesn't realize it. If you are a Genevive, remember how GORGEOUS AND AWESOME you are! People are so blessed to know your wonderful self! I LOVE YOU!!!!!
