going out to eat and ordering a large stack of pancakes ala mode as a follow-up to the meal.

I thought he said "pound cake ala mode" when she asked if we wanted dessert, but then she came back with 3 huge pancakes covered with ice cream, whipped cream and fudge! That's some serious fat bastardry!
