If you meet someone with the name “Edryss”, they are very intelligent people but they tend not to show it in front of people, they only showcase it when it comes to academics and acts that tests their knowledge. They are also very loyal people when it comes to relationships and friendships. They are able to hold long-lasting relationships with people as long as these people are kind and true to them. Another thing is that they are very artistic! They are amazing at drawing, crafts and art in general. They are also very ambitious and won’t settle for something small, they aim for high objectives and they get disappointed if they don’t reach something that they know they can reach. Noun. Edress in BBS days refered to the specific memory location within a computer system where electronic messages could be left for a person or organization for later retrieval.
The name e-mail later won out over edress (maybe it sounded too much like clothing?).
Edress is still used today to refer to a name or a sequence of characters that designates an e-mail account.
I first coined this word back in the 1980's BBS (Bulletin Board System) days of computer science (Someone else may have thought of it before me, but I thought of it on my own as well).
