Crawdaddin'

To retract ones previously stated or confirmed position/action on an issue. Basically backing out of something. Its a southern term, used by gentleman and scholars, that alliterates to the backwards action of a crayfish or "crawdad" when getting away from a threat.

Josh: Are we still going to New Orleans for a few days of Man-tivities?
Shane: No, I said I could go but really dont have the vacation time..
Josh: You crawdaddin' on me?!
Shane: Yeah...sorry man.

crawdadding

to move backwards away from a perceived threat, as a crawdad does. When a crawdad is escaping, it moves quickly backward, despite any obstacles it may have to knock down or go around in its path. It also raises its pincers to pinch and defend itself against its attacker. Usually, crawdadding ends when the crawdad reaches its hole. The crawdad will then hide in its hole until it feels safe to come out again.

The White House Press Secretary is an expert at crawdadding when the First Family embarrasses itself or puts itself in an awkward position.

Crawdaddy

The Cajun equivalent to a sugar daddy.

Instead of say a Lamborghini, a Crawdaddy may have a fox body mustang in immaculate condition. Instead of a yacht they may have a Pontoon boat with a very nice beer cooler.

Crawdaddies are commonly solicited by Mudbugs (the Cajun equivalent to a gold digger)

Bill: "Have you called Cynthia back lately?

Ted: "Nah. I heard she went down to the bayou and got herself a Crawdaddy"

reverse crawdaddy

A sexual position upon which the receieving end is on all four of his or her limbs, with the back arched and facing towards the ground (note, not to be confused with doggy style). It's best put into an analogy that you're on all fours, and your stomach is the shell of the turtle or crayfish. Commonly done among practitioners of Yoga, gymnasts, and other nimble, kinky sorts.

I'm tired of all the normal everyday mundane sex-- lets make like a shrimp and try some reverse crawdaddy!
