countermack

a particular form of cock block in which someone lays down the mack of equal or superior effectiveness to someone else's already existing game-kickage to someone, usually in order to decrease their chances of scoring.
"So I was at this party. Greg was laying down the mack on Robin, but that interfered with my plans since I had been trying to work her for a while. So I laid the countermack on Greg. His game quickly dissolved as I proved him to be a giant mangina"

countermania

the bizarre tendency to counteract something or do something in reaction to something else. Counterclaiming, counterespionage, counteraccusation, making a counterblast, etc. are what a person obsessed with countermania would do.
The student is obsessed with countermania and counterblames those who blame him.

Counterfade

Somebody who does not want to fight, but will.
Sports are one thing, fighting is something else. A lot of people think of fighting as being like a sport calling something a fade in reference to fighting. There's always a counterfade though. Watch what you try and create.

Countermandering

The strategic redrawing of electoral district boundaries in Democratic-leaning (blue) states as a direct response to partisan gerrymandering by Republicans in red states. While gerrymandering typically aims to entrench power unfairly, countermandering is framed as a defensive or corrective measure intended to restore electoral balance and representation.

Derived from “counter” (against, in opposition to) and “gerrymandering” (manipulating voting districts for political gain).
In an effort to level the electoral playing field, state lawmakers in Illinois engaged in countermandering to offset aggressive gerrymandering tactics used in Texas and Florida.

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.
