condesunshine

Trying to get someone to see the bright side of their crappy situation, instead of acknowledging their feelings and letting them grieve/ mourn/ be disappointed, etc. A portmanteau of "condescend" and "sunshine."
Don't parade on my rain. It's rude to condesunshine.

So I am confushun

Reference to a vine that went viral, the phrase is used when someone is very confused.

The full vine goes like this:

"So I am confUshun! Why is this one KANSAS, but this one is not ar-KANSAS?!? AMERICA, EXPLAIN!! EXPLAIN!!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN, ARKENSAW?!?!?!
"This is your math homework: all you have to do is find the square root of the cubic root of x to the fifth power plus half of y divided by z and then multiply the whole thing by y.

ME: "So I am confUshun!"

Condisandwich

When you have a bun, and various condiments, but no burgers, hot dogs or sausages.

Usually made, when grocery supplies are extremely low or you run out of propane.
The fridge was nearly empty, so I grabbed a hot dog bun, mustard, relish, ketchup and BBQ sauce and made myself a condisandwich.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
