A term used to describe a fanfiction's relationship to canon. It is used for fanfictions that are not set in an alternate universe (AU), meaning that the author made an effort to not contradict the canon setting, plot development, characters, etc.
Fangirl 1: I read this great fanfiction over the weekend Fangirl 2: Was it canon compliant?
Fangirl 1: Yeah, it had all the same characters and plot details as the show!
A Complimentary-Horror-Game-Flashlight is a word that was first made up by kubz scouts // AKA Jay :D// This is something that every game has/needs to BE a horror game. Sometimes it is also called a "Fleshlight" by the dumbass when he's scared during a playthrough of a (horror) game,,
I'm quoting this..
"CAN I GET MY DAMN COMPLIMENTARY-HORROR-GAME-FLASHLIGHT IT'S FUCKING DARK!"
When someone compliments an unattractive individual to make that individual feel better about themselves (actually meant to boost their self esteem) but it’s actually not true; the individual then mistakenly takes it seriously from there on out and has an inflated ego.
Example: Sarah thinks she’s hot shit since she got those breast and butt implants but she’s actually a “compliment gone wrong”.
Dave sure has been acting like a “compliment gone wrong” ever since he got those new hair plugs.
