A Brutalist is a term used to describe writers or artists working within the literary movement of Brutalism. The literary form of brutalism is characterized by raw or brutal honestly. Artists working within the genre include English authors Tony O'Neill, Adelle Stripe, and Ben Myers.

Because of the writer's raw honesty I would guess that he's a brutalist.

A vocalist in a metal band who uses his or her range of screams to give the music feeling. A brutalist charges their lyrics with powerful emotions, so the audience not only hears the meaning of a song but also feels it. Brutalists have darker more deathly screams, that are still understandable.
