First referenced in the the webtoon by the "The Professor Brothers".

In this context it is describing two actual brothers hugging, but can be used for african americans or just if you hug one of your bros.

Far more manly than a hug but less manly than breaking bits of wood with your head.

If your mate tells you he is getting married, a handshake won't do. Go in for a brograb!

Brogramming 

The act of writing computer code while visibly adhering to brogrammer norms.

The practice is usually seen as annoying, as the brogrammer appears to be desperately or intrusively seeking the appearance of being cool, technically adept, and/or productive, i.e. "crushing it".

Programming while using drugs or alcohol, programming with a cap on backwards, programming in any type of clothing that lacks sleeves, programming while listening to music so loudly that people across the room can hear it from one's headphones, programming while violently bobbing one's head to said music, programming with sunglasses on, programming with the hood of one's hoodie on, programming and shouting "fuck" periodically (ostensibly when a super tough coding problem is encountered), programming with one's feet up, programming in the close possession of an inordinate amount of energy drinks, etc. are all examples of brogramming

A masculine hug occuring between two men, usually occuring during moments of intense joy or initial meeting. They are marked by their overtly heterosexual nature.

First popularized by the "Professor Brothers" cartoons.

Mike (uncomfortably): "Ian, why are you holding me."
Ian: "Bro Grab, man."
Mike (suddenly comfortable and unmolestedly): "Ah. Cool."

brogrammer 

Pejorative adjective for computer programmers or others with a technical skill-set that adhere to a "bro" or "cool" culture, often obnoxiously so.

This phenomenon arose circa 2010 when the proliferation of popular tech-themed movies such as "21", "The Social Network", and "Iron Man" and tech-celebrities such as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg glamorized technical skills. As such those who often grew up as socially repressed outcasts or "nerds" due to their academic or technical aptitude and social ineptitude now found themselves in socially desirable class of society. This incited a once repressed demographic to become much more socially active despite social cluelessness, resulting in an obnoxious culture that tends to mimic stereotypical "jock", "bro", or "cool" culture in combination with the egotism, insensitivity, and terrible humor of "nerd" culture.

A programmer who breaks the usual expectations of quiet nerdiness and opts instead for the usual trappings of a frat-boy: popped collars, bad beer, and calling everybody "bro". Despised by everyone, especially other programmers.
