A man who has grown an abundance of facial hair in order to make himself appear more attractive (usually on Instagram). Upon shaving, he looks like a dolphin's blowhole.

Person A: did you see that Clive has shaved off his beard?
Person B: yeah! I never knew he was so ugly! He's such a beardfish!

when a man appears to be handsome while he's wearing a full beard, but once he shaves it, he actually looks unattractive and maybe even malnourished.

Friend 1: What happened to that guy you were dating?
Friend 2: He was a damn beardfish. When he shaved his beard he looked like a raw, unbattered chicken wing.
