Woiye! / Woi'ye! - Sinhalese islander in origin (Sri Lanka)

An expression used by Sri Lankans to express a sense of sudden excitement.
It is commonly used in the middle of baila and calypso music to (unintentionally) boost the sense of atmosphere.
E.g:- (In Cricket)

Bowler: *Takes a wicket.
Wicket: Woiye!! (*celebrates).
