He made a joke, and when his friend thought he was serious, he had to quickly say "Snuggens" so his friend would understand hime

Knutten Snuggen

Tight, or Cupped fitted crotch region of pants, shorts or undergarments. Derivative of the phrase "Nut Snug". The origin is Norwegian, and thus the "K" is silent.
