A live action adaptation of a popular childrens media franchise where the titular character(s) are transported to the real world, complete with human companions, photorealistic interpretations of iconic characters, shots with the main character and their human companion in a car, and plenty of too-obvious callbacks to the franchise.

Person 1: I want to see The (Insert Franchise Here) Movie. I grew up with this franchise as a kid.

Person 2: This movie looks like a load of smurfshit.
