The act of recieving obscene amouts of money from a close relative for your first capitalist venture, and still trying to pass yourself off as a self-made man.

First popularised by donald J Trump--an idiot--in the now infamous phrase "a Small Loan Of A Million Dollars"

Donald Trump sloamd his way into the upper echelons of New York society.

example 2:
"So, Mr. Burkowitz, do you think Mr. Trump is a self-made man?"
Mr. Burkowitz: "Well, Mr. Schmidt, I remain undecided on the matter, seeing that he "recieved a small loan of a million dollars from his father". It may thus be fair to say that he sloamed his way up, just like Mr. Musk over there"
