An acronym for "SomeOne Who Gets it". A SOWGi is anyone who gets 'it', 'it' being any life experience that SomeOne has to give them enough knowledge or expertise to offer guidance or support to someone else on that topic.
He is a SOWGi because he understands that we are all here to help and support each other with life's daily challenges, both big and small.
