Sharper Image

From the eponymous company line of products. Saying "Sharper Image" before an item automatically makes it high-end. Usually, it denotes a high-cost but low-value product that, while appeling to rich folk, those who think they're rich, or those who want to live the high-life, was nevertheless manufactured in China like every other product common people buy.

Since the company filed for bankruptcy, the Sharper Image brand has significantly lost appeal, and is now-a-days synonymous with wasting money on over-priced goods.
"I got these Trump Steaks off Sharper Image, they cost me $100 a pound so they must be delicious."
"Fully endorsed by Donald Trump.... Nice! We're gonna make a great impression at the Young Republicans meeting."

Pencil and Sharpener theory

The lock and key theory can finally be disproved. The lock and key theory states that "A key that opens many locks is a master key, yet a lock that can be opened by many keys is a useless lock" The counter theory, the pencil and sharpener theory states that "a pencil that is sharpened by a lot of sharpeners becomes a useless stub/pencil while a sharpener that sharpens a lot of pencils is a good pencil sharpener" This theory is rarely favoured by males... for some reason.

Are you curious to know how this proof was derived? if YES, Click on Alt + F4 (on windows) and ⌘ + Shift + W (on a mac)
The pencil and sharpener theory is mostly used to shut a boy up when he brings up the lock and key theory. Works everytime

Morning Sharpener

(noun) An alcoholic beverage, typically one standard drink (0.6 oz pure ethanol), consumed at the start of one's day. The intended goal of a morning sharpener is, as the name implies, to "sharpen" one's mental accuity, mood and motivation. However, much like getting high before a stressful, high pressure event, it often has the opposite effect.

Similar to irish coffee, morning joe and wake and bake.
"What's up with Joe today?"

"Oh, he ran out of sauce for his morning sharpener. He's feeling a bit twitchy, is all."

"Poor bastard."

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
