Pseulebrity 

Someone who has created the perception that they're more famous than they are. Pseulebrities are avid social networking users; they complain a lot, ask for free stuff and talk about themselves in the third person. They live in a vacuous online world where followers, 'friends', 'likes' and blog views mean more than sex.

A professional athlete that achieves celebrity status, especially a professional in action sports.
Yo Rob Dyrdek is tight as hell, but it sucks that hes all prolebrity now.

Prolebrity 

A Prolebrity is a person who is a professional, typically a leader or well known in their field, who's highly social, loves attention but unable - or not able - to achieve celebrity status; or is a professional who has achieved celebrity status. They're a cross between a hipster, yuppie, and someone who has reach unofficial celebrity status. Typically they're associated with a subculture of men and women typically in their late 20's, 30's and even 40's (college educated), and values independent thinking but blends well into common culture. They're progressive thinkers who are witty and hold an appreciation for finer things, but willing to work hard for it and achieve celebrity status within their field or profession. Prolebrities can also be consider or classified as workoholics or YUPs (young urban professionals). See def. for YUP
