Lennart Poettering

A somewhat well-known author of surreal horror fiction from Germany, Lennart Poettering is mostly known for writing overly long and confusing works such as Pulsations of Autophilia (a tragedy about a sluggish autistic teenager who is murdered while fucking his uncle's Porsche and comes back as a ghost to seek vengeance) and Systems Down (about a server administrator who finds himself locked in the server room after closing time with a horrible, memory-corrupting abomination).

I picked up this new book at Barnes and Noble, but it says that Lennart Poettering is required reading so I'm taking it back.

poetterware

Poetterware is a type of software mostly found on Linux systems, for example systemd, pulseaudio, policykit, consolekit, xdg-open, colord and more.
This software generally works very well and solves really complicated problems, but if it doesn't behave the way it should, you will have a hard time debugging the issue (e.g. via dbus), working around it (by quick hacks) or use alternative software. It may be written by Lennart Poettering or the freedesktop foundation or other participants in the ecosystem.

You're using Gentoo Linux with systemd? Yes, although it's poetterware it works very well for me.

Petterøes

A cigarette brand by the Norwegian man Halfdan Petterøe. He founded the Petterøes tobacco company in 1900, whom his daughter (Aase Petterøe) inherited after his death in 1939.

The smoking brand is one of Norways most popular and best known. It's also known for its well rounded taste and average cut. Not too perfumed, not too neutral.

Petteri is a Finnish name for a man. It comes from the biblical name Saint Peter, that comes from the Greek word, Πέτρος or Pétros, meaning stone or rock. So, all the dudes named Petteri, are real tough guys. The feminine equivalent Petra, is known to be a godess like woman with a porn star body. So naturally Petteri is also one hot sexual animal, with a sensual touch.

Petteri was a popular boys name espesially in the 70's.
