The form of having sympathy of how pathetic something was or is.

Jake: Wow. that was the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. You are the epitome of an idiotic lowlife of society.

When something is soooo pathetic that it is beyond the descriptive word, 'pathetic', it is in a state of patheticies.
