Short for 'On a totally unrelated subject...'
Used in text messages as a way of changing the subject rapidly or is sent before a random thought that you had mid conversation.

1: Yh, I agree. Tom was outta line today.
2: OATUS... when's Dom's party?
1: the 6th x
1: Do you think Tom and Lucy will get back together?
2: nah
