Negligentic

A belief system that supports the act of going out of your way to not know things, to be negligent is sometimes a way to keep ones confidence, mental stability, or even schedule, in tact, purposeful ignorance.
Winston: Don't you want to know what's going on?

Schamous: Sure but if I remain NEGLIGENTIC, I'm not dumping my time and energy into something that might be out of anyone's control and prolonging any self induced suffering.

criminally negligent humor

Slipped into conversation like a stiletto between the ribs, an unintended yet nearly lethal joke.
She looked innocent, her blue eyes wide, and he never saw it coming, another taste of her criminally negligent humor. Sliding from the bed and falling to the floor, he begged, "Don't make me laugh! Please!" It was too late.

negligent discharge

1.) The accidental firing of a weapon. It usually occurs when firearms are given to idiots, small children, the mentally retarded, or Marines. Can result in bleeding wounds, severe maiming, and death.

2.) See "premature ejaculation". (Also prevalent in the Marine Corps)
When the DI handed Private Jimmy his M16, Jimmy dropped it and it went off. Jimmy just had a negligent discharge.

After Jimmy negligently discharged into his DI's asshole, he was discharged from the Corps.

Negligencia

A class of elites who have no sense of noblesse oblige. They blithely govern or advocate for their own benefit while negligently allowing the lower classes and/or society's critical infrastructure to degrade.
That Senator is a fine specimen of the Negligencia. He always votes against increasing highway and education spending.

negligenius

The fine line between negligence and genius.

Used primarily to describe feats of engineering or maintenence. Most often seen in cash poor, resource rich environments - developing nations being the prime example.
Our upstairs neighbour asked the landlord to replace her mouldy, disintegrating shower curtain one day while she was out. When she came home, she found a brand spanking new shower curtain hanging up, but this one was a good 20 cm too short to actually curtain the shower.

She mentioned this small, but fairly important, problem to the landlord and the next day she came home to find not a new, longer shower curtain, nor a strip of plastic stapled onto the bottom of the old one.

Instead, the shower rail had been wrenched out of its fittings and reaffixed into some holes that had been whacked into the tiles 20 centimetres lower down the wall.

Her bathroom now looked like a construction site, but she had a functional shower. That, my friends, is negligenius.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
Some grebo passed with Sabbath playing on his stereo.
The Poppies are at no. 17? God, a grebo band in the charts!
