booze mining

Booze mining is the practice of hiding a quantity of alcohol (and/or drugs) before the security goes up for an outdoor festival (say, like Lollapalooza) by burying it on the grounds, often with a geotag on the location, and digging it up after the show starts.

"What're you doing there?"
~ "I'm digging up my booze, man!"
"Dude, I so thought booze mining was an Urban Legend!"

Blue Mixing

In the music industry, when the "sound guy" makes an opening band sound bad (by poorly mixing them) to make the headlining band sound better.

The practice is mentioned in Five Iron Frenzy's song "Blue Mix" from the album "Electric Boogaloo." Lead singer Reese Roper disclosed the song's meaning in the November/December 2001 issue of HM (Hard Music) Magazine.

Blue mixing these next few bands will help us out Joel, we don't want these kids to forget who the main event is...

maingk

An exclamation usually associated with hunting wild American rabbits in the South Eastern United States. Amongst some experienced and highly skilled rabbit hunters Maingk is yelled at a rabbit as it passes the hunter--and there are often three or four rabbits a-goin' at a time--with a series of loud hollers, e.g. "Maingk, Maingk, Maingk, Maingk!!" The rabbit will often stop right still, we reckon because he is so scaired he has to stop. If the rabbit stops, the hunter should kill him with a stick. It is said that this is a good method to stop a rabbit, and field tests prove that it does indeed work, and that if you make that fu-fu-fuss they will stop.

I'll tell you one thing, I was out a-huntin' rabbits one day and we had three or four a-goin' at the time and there come one raght by me and I said "Maingk, Maingk, Maingk, Maingk!!" And he stopped raght still and I killed him with a stick.

Mining Mole

The Mining Mole is a rare passive NPC character that is found in the immensely popular sandbox, Minecraft. In version 1.16, there is a very small chance you find the Mining Mole by doing a special order of actions. First, you must be speedrunning the game for the chance of the Mining Mole to spawn. Then you must dig straight down whilst hyperventilating. There is a 0.3% chance that you will find the Mining Mole's cave at sea level (y = 62). After finding the Mining Mole, he will donate you an array of diamond tools and spawn in a variety of ores for you to mine (including diamonds and emeralds). The Mining Mole will fly out of the hole and ascend to the skies after you have claimed your prize. Note that this feature is only on Java and Bedrock Editions on 1.16 or higher.
