mephedrone

Meph is currently still a research chemical in most countries, however it has been made illegal in some parts of Europe down to its similarities to MDMA. Like MDMA, it can be snorted or bombed. It gives users quite a strong buzz, making it a ever increasingly popular club drug.
Ollie: Mate Ive got some more mephedrone in for the weekend.

Mephedrone

4-MethylMethCathinone, chemical compound analogue of Cathinone. Cathinone being the "natural" amphetamine found in Khat plant. In England were it was most popular, it fell out side of any laws. In other countries, it was illegal before it came out due to analogue laws (i.e. USA, and France). And it was banned in other countries after some accidents (deaths, injuries) were related to the compound.
It could be bought on the internet as a plant feeder, with a starting price towards £10 per gram ($15; 11€) but if you bought 20g, the price per gram was towards £7 ($10.7; 7.8€).
In the same way as MDMA, it causes the release of Serotonin in the brain, thus creating the euphoria, and sometimes depression after the come down.
Mephedrone is, since the 29/03/2010, on route to be banned in the UK, because of irresponsible users. Youngsters misunderstood the words "legal high", believing that it was a "safe high", in doing so, Overdoses were common place. Also, the media published every death related to Mephedrone, as they did for ecstasy just before it's ban. Note: the media reports 1/250 deaths from paracetamol or aspirin but 1/1 deaths from Meph.
Also to note: there are more death from alcohol every day then from mephedrone.

Scientific names: 1-(4-methlyphenyl)-2-methylaminopropan-1-one ; 4-methylmethcathinone

Methadrone

Methadrone is a research chemical that is still in testing. In the UK it is currently legal, being illegal in several european countries.

It is a fiendish drug, mostly used by the 'skins' generation of twattish UK youth.

It is taken by snorting, but can also be bombed which gives a lesser effect.
It has a distinctive chemical smell, and is one of he nastiest things so snort. it tastes, and smells like cat urine, giving it the nickname 'cat piss'
because of its legality it can be purchased online in the UK, and depending on how much you buy, prices can be as cheap as a tenner. People have started shotting it, and hiking the prices up to ridiculous sums.

Effects a similar to that of MDMA, although a shorter, less satisfactory high is usually experienced.

Ultimately, its nice, but if you take it, you're a fiend
John: Do you want a line of cat piss mate?

Jim: Nah mate, methadrone is for fiends.

.......Several hours later.........

John: Do you want a line of cat piss mate?

Jim: Bless, this place is dead, weve been standing on a street corner for ages trying to find a yard to go to or somthing to do. I love fridays....

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
