Derived from the fictional cartoon character, Mr. Magoo, who was unusually nearsighted and stubborn refusal to admit there was a problem resulting in frequent comical near-death experiences.

It was Magoovian of the funeral director to hire an admitted cannibal as the new mortician.

I watched him laughing and moving easily through the busy open market, not really understanding the true situational danger or how vulnerable he was to be Mr. Magooing it like this!
