This word originated from gym bros alerting each other of a beautiful girl in the vicinity at a public gym, disguising their admirations as talking about the machines or apparatus in the gym.

Roche: "I'm sorry about that man, but I just have to let you know, there's a máchine over there!"

Someone who tirelessly completes a task without stopping. They just get the job done. Usually used in sports. Similar to a beast or tank.

Man, that dude just ran in a straight line through the defence and scored without stopping. What a machine.
