Damage limitation means actions you take to limit or offset the damaging effects of an accident or error. Well that’s the official line anyway, but in most cases what it means is the person responsible for the fuck up Running around like a striped ass ape in order to cover their own ass and prevent any of the shit flying around from sticking to them.

Camilla Batmanghelidgh’s idea of damage limitation is to cover her own fat ass and blame everyone else.

Post-Limit

The post-limit is the worst possible thing that could ever happen to the common Tumblr addict. After a user posts what Tumblr finds as "too much" pictures, videos, music, etc. they will reach their Post-Limit. At first, users will usually think, "What?" and after recovering from Post-Limit Shock, they will most likely be angry. A way to bypass this is, have the user go to their settings, and change their timezone to somewhere that is one day ahead of them.

User: Aw shit, I reached my Post-Limit.

Michigan speed limit

The speed at which a cop won't pull you over in Michigan. Usually 5-10mph over the posted speed limit on main roads and 15-20mph over the posted speed limit on highways. If you don't maintain this speed you will have a line of cars behind you, each within three feet of the car in front of them. If you feel like driving under the posted speed limit and the weather conditions are anywhere near decent, then you better just pull over and let people pass you.

Mike: Hey dude, you're going way too fast, slow it down.
Nick: Naw it's alright, the Michigan speed limit on this road is 65.
Mike: Yeah I know, but you're doin' 90.
Nick: Oh. Yeah I should probably back off.

Silver Lining

The principle that every bad situation produces something good or teaches some lesson. It is derived from the fact that clouds, even though dark, often have bright silver edges where the sun reflects.

2020 was a terrible year, but the silver lining was I got to do school from the comfort of home, finally wasn't constantly busy, got to play lots and lots of video games, and learned to appreciate a normal world.
