Howard "The Professor" Lederer was the owner of Full Tilt poker who ran a Ponzi scheme and stole Millions of Dollars from thousands of people. He also said on the 2010 season of Poker after dark that he would like to be in the Urban Dictionary for his mistakes.

Man, I logged on to Full Tilt poker to withdraw my funds and found that I can't get my money. I got lederer'd.

It's a book-keeping term. Black ink means profit and red ink means debt.

As in reference to "The Avengers" when Black Widow said: "I want to wipe out the red from my ledger"

She feels that if she 'wipes out this debt', she will be free from whatever problem is plaguing her
