A westerner who tries to look admirable by doing or saying anything to avoid "offending" Islam and Muslims, including posing as knowledgeable about Islam's "lack of intrinsic violence" and attacking and berating anyone who criticizes Islam or the violent actions of Muslims. The result is to prevent free speech and make Islam an untouchable religion not accountable for the actions of it's members.

Labelling any concerns over Islam as racist hate and rabid phobia, so as to avoid addressing the issue. Excusing Islam of any role in any incident. Replacing any reference to Muslim perpetrators with words like 'Asian' or 'extremist'. Refusal to investigate Muslim criminals for fear of being called racist. Seeing Muslims as always victims.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped.
