Intellitard

An 'Intellitard' is one who has a stunning intelligence level, but a lack of judgment to use it. This person usually has waves of high intelligence, followed by lows of supposed retardation, in a sense that is totally unexpected to concerned parties.
My genius son occasionally lacks common sense. He is an intellitard!

intellimancy

The process of divination using the medium of cogitation.

Cartomancy uses cards to tell the future, bibliomancy uses a book (often the Bible), geomancy uses earth and stones. Intellimancy is the same, except your mind is your oracle.
For an example of the process of intellimancy see the definition of honkey.
