Everything is simply a shape, a form, an identifier to let others recognize me as me! But then, what am I? Is this me? My true self? My fake self? What is it that I am? Nobody understands me!

Don't quote this in therapy you filthy shinnie.
you know how Shinji Ikari once said: "Everything is simply a shape, a form, an identifier to let others recognize me as me! But then, what am I? Is this me? My true self? My fake self? What is it that I am? Nobody understands me!" yeah, I relate to that.

Male identified

A member of the female gender who defends and protects problematic men and blames women for men's wrongdoings. Examples are women who blame girls for wearing short skirts for being sexually assaulted, who attack teenage girls sleeping with adult men instead of the creepy adult men, who say that the woman deserved to be beaten etc. Normally have low self esteem and live for male validation and opinions. Also known as "pick-mes".

identified patient

Psychology term describing an individual, usually a child or teen, in a dysfunctional family who:

1) Gets scapegoated and blamed for a family's problems
2) Has emotional problems that are not a mental illness, but a normal response to the stress of dealing with an unhealthy family in denial
3) Blows the whistle on a dysfunctional family's problems

Phrase originated because family therapists recognized that the child "identified" as the patient is not necessarily the one who is sick.
1) John is dropping out of school and doing drugs and his parents want him institutionalized, but it turns out his mother is an abusive alcoholic and his father is chronically absent. John is the identified patient.

2) Becky is extremely depressed and fearful. She accuses her father, correctly, of molestation, but the parents deny it and accuse Becky of being sick for reasons that have nothing to do with them. Becky is the identified patient.

Spiritual Identification System

The spiritual identification system (SIS/SPIRITIS/SPIRITISYS) is a spiritual technology that is about to identify people at spiritual level, or by their spirits, minds, souls, auras, vibrations or anything at spiritual level. The term is also used to refer to technologies able to identify anything at spiritual level.
"The Spiritual Identification System is a concept that might help a lot the search for spiritual life, and even for be the future of the ways to identify people and increase security and organization of society."

"The SPIRITISYS will be really important in the future, and might be a revolution in human sciences and technologies."

Firearm Identification Card

The asinine requirement to purchase a firearm (rifle or shotgun), ammunition or even BB guns in the People's Republic of New Jersey. Although not technically required for possession of such items, it does, as a generality, serve as a de facto proof of being "eligible" to possess firearms. Application for FID is typically made to the law enforcement agency at which one resides. Non residents apply at the nearest NJSP trooper barracks. The process is highly intrusive and involves signing a waiver to allow disclosure of mental health information to determine eligibility and the providing of references who must attest to the "fitness" of the applicant.

The process is supposed to take no more than 30 days, but do to prevailing anti 2nd amendment attitudes and sentiments held by most law enforcement agencies, it can take, in some cases, upwards of a year to be issued one; other localities, more accepting of the second amendment will issue within 30 days. In addition, there are multiple cases of denial for "arbitrary" and vague reasons, often termed as "public health and safety".
Oh you want to buy this gun, ok, let me see your Firearm Identification Card before we can proceed with this sale.

Oh, you want to apply for a FID. Here sign this mental health waiver and we'll hopefully issue your card in the next year or so.

LEO- Let me see your FID.

Law abiding citizen-Sir, respectfully, I do not need a FID since I am in possession under one of the exemptions provided for by NJ law.

LEO-Get the fuck out of the car and get on the ground!!!!! You cannot possess a firearm without a FID!!!!!

murderhobo

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.

Dave: I call dibs on the dog.

In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.

Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.

A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.
"Shit...the sales director chewed me out on the sales call this morning. He's totally pissed that I have nothing in my pipeline. I've been focused on this one whale for so long that I haven't had time to prospect for normal-sized deals."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.
