to raise - someone heavy or hefty - who is usually sitting in a low couch and watching way too much TV for extended period of time - by means of pulling them up (helping them up with considerable effort/force) with two arms, while not using ropes and pulleys to pull. And at that exact time, the incumbent who was just helped up - with a considerable amount of effort - breaks wind (expels flatulence) which is not unspectacular. Unknown if defecation occurred.

Dag! Just binged-watch Game of Thrones and Ma' thick woman sank in that couch so long, I had to try and hoift her up. She farted too, and wouldn't leggo of my hands! Thought she shat herself. Bad enough that she done broke my back but she sure stank something fierce.

The Infamous Ice Cream Cocktail "Hofty Wofty" Originated in Chatham, Kent, United Kingdom by Stacey Bear in November 2009.

The dessert comprises of multiple flavoured ice creams (Vanilla, Pistachio, Banana, Chocolate, Strawberry, Mint, Raspberry Ripple and Lemon Sorbet)
with Honeycomb, Jelly Tots, Nuts, Edible Silver and Pink Balls, Flake, Chocolate Sprinkles, Toffee Chocolate & Strawberry Sauce, Squrty Cream and a Wafer with a dusting of Cocoa Powder to finish...

These ingredients must be layered in order of personal preference
