Grippy Sock Jail

A common online name for a mental hospitals, often due to the fact that you get socks with grips on the bottoms instead of shoes.

grippy sock vacation 

A stay in the mental hospital. Name taken from the grippy socks given to (mostly involuntary) patients. Patients are not allowed shoes with laces due to suicide risk so grippy socks like those used at trampoline parks are issued to patients for footwear.

An online term used to describe a type of mental hospital, this term is used because of the fact in most mental hospitals they tend to give you grippy socks to wear as a type of shoe.
