Great Googly Moogly!

Wait, wasn't that on the show called, "Wow, Wow, Wubzy!?"

That yellow monster always pissed me off.

great googly-moogly

interjection, similar to "great Caesar's ghost" and "jumpin' Jehosaphat," this nonsense phrase can be heard in the song "Goin' Down Slow" by Howlin Wolf, and in Frank Zappa's song "Don't Eat The Yellow Snow."
sure, anyone can shout "holy shit" or "jesus fucking christ." but it takes a person of rare insight and a sense of musical history to say "great googly-moogly" without sounding infantile.

An exclamation of joy, awe, or fright made by the 'ferocious beast' on the obnoxiously odd childrens show "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast".
Maggie: Oh noes! My xbox just exploded!
Ferocious Beast: Great googly moogly!

GREAT GOOGLY MOOGLY

An exclamation of surprise and disgust, typically uttered after painting the name "Chefs" on the field of a Kansas City football team.
"Uh... Shouldn't it say 'Chiefs?'"
"Great googly moogly..."

A word I once heard spoken by a freaky yellow monster in a childrens show.
Monster: Great googly moogly!
Me: what did that thing just say?
