Grėtė

Word "Grėtė" (Origin: Lithuania) is unique in its kind and is not found in the usual urban slang too often, neither is it found in every-day language too often. The reason for that can be found in it's definition:

Grėtė (english pron. "gryy-teey") in urban and every-day language is most commonly used to call or describe someone as hard working, goal-focused and impressively persistent.

In a different context, the same word can be used to describe someone as very fucking stubborn.

It's not known for sure, but Lithuanian language, culture, and literature indicates that someone who was given the word "Grėtė" as a name, is known to be a person that can quite literally "Rock Your World". In other words, if you meet such person, there is a high enough chance that you won't ever forget about her/him.
1. "I gave up yesterday and she is still working really hard for that test! She must be Grėtė or something.."

2. "You always say that you arer afraid, yet always end up having the best time of your life.. so don't be Grėtė, just get your ass out there and do it!"
