An method of torture by which the victim is locked in a closet or covered with a heavy blanket, for a prolonged period of time, together with an individual with a known propensity for blowing farts of the loud, trumpeting variety, and who has recently consumed a considerable quantity of beans or confectionery containing petroleum jelly, such as jujubes. Bessemer Furnace
Similar to a Dutch Oven, the Bessemer Furnace makes use of a closet instead of a bed. The fart can occur before or after the victim is shoved into the closet. The use of deception is critical here to lure the victim into the closet. Once trapped, the farter holds the door closed.

Adjective. Used to describe persons who have adjusted or altered their lifestyle for environmental reasons. Crunchy persons tend to be politically strongly left-leaning and may be additionally but not exclusively categorized as vegetarians, vegans, eco-tarians, conservationists, environmentalists, neo-hippies, tree huggers, nature enthusiasts, etc.
