A false smokestack for aesthetic or advertising purposes. May not even resemble a real smokestack, except in the most abstract way (i.e. tall vertical structure).

Check out the fauxstacks on the new Guthrie. One of them even has a vertical marquee.

The last name of a long line of mammoth warriors. Often known for slaying medieval gnome zombies. The present family is now the Pacific Northwest's official lawfirm for victims of bear and/or pony assaults.

A fake feeling of nostalgia for something old you didn't actually experience - like Instagram filters and throwback branding from before you could actually walk.

The 20-year old said the X-Pro II filter in Instagram really gave him fauxstalgia for the good old days back in the 1970's.
