Douche fad

A thing, idea, or whatever that is done/used only because other people do it. Douche fad is used as a negative term, because it implies that people that are part of a douche fad cannot think for themselves or be themselves.

If you see a lot of people doing one thing that really annoys you, and can see that if only one person did it it would make that person look like a total idiot, it is probably a douche fad.

Understand that not all fads are douche fads. "That's what she said" is not because if used properly, it is genuinely funny. Other fads are cool too.

Examples of douche fads include:

Wearing your pants so low your boxers/thong is showing

Using overly used words like "awkward" (<--especially when it is misused) and "creeper". "Ignorant" also fits into this category

douchefad

A fad that someone gets caught up in that ultimately makes them look like a douchebag. Some examples are: The faux hawk, popping collars on a polo shirt, getting a tramp stamp, spray on tans or wearing Ed Hardy clothing.

Friend #1: Did you see that Larry grew a 70's pornstache?

Friend #2: Yeah, what a tool.

Hopefully, that mustache growing douchefad will be over before you know it.

douchenado

A huge crowd of fratboys, tourists, and other people that you don't want to be around that invade a cool place and ruin it for everyone else.

The bar was cool until a douchenado from Jersey showed up around midnight. We had to leave.

A junior douche. One who is almost a douche.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that he's a douche, but he certainly qualifies as a douchecadet.
