District 1

District 1 is one of the 12 districts of Panem in the Hunger Games unniverse. Its industry is Luxury goods for the Capitol. The residents of this district have often been described as extremely slutty and sexual and the entire district is full of whores. The district is often described by the other districts as a demonic hellscape and bastion of all that is evil. People from District 1 if not slutty are usually pure evil.

Everyone in the room agreed that District 1 should be burned to the ground.

Lincolnshire-Prairie View District 103

A school district located in Lincolnshire, IL. This district is takes pride in academics. Many students score within the top 1% of the nation on standardized tests. It is one of the only schools to have received the Blue Ribbon Award five times. The schools in this district receives large sums of money from the property taxes of the mansions located near it. The school district is currently faced with many mental health issues, such as depression. Lucky, they have hired 6 social workers and 2 psychologists to handle the situation. The schools in this district are Daniel Wright Junior High School, Half Day Intermediate School, and Laura B. Sprague Elementary School. This school feeds into Stevenson High School.

Parent 1: "My straight-A kid came home with depression."
Parent 2: "Mine came home with that last year!"
Parent 1: "Seems to be common in Lincolnshire-Prairie View District 103."

Parent 2: "Must be from the homework."

susquenita school district

The worst damn school I have ever seen. The teachers are bitches. The students are assholes. In the rare case that a teacher actually is good and cares about their students, they are bullied by the students anyway. The hallways are trashy. The staff is way too strict, walking HIGH SCHOOLERS to and from lunch, having assigned lunch seats, and you can’t even get up without asking. The teachers control your lives, they act as if we didn’t have any other classes, so they assign hours of homework.

Pink Light District

Pink-Light District is English-language nomenclature referring to brothels fronting as hair salons in China. The term derives from Red-Light District but is specific to the P.R.C., as Chinese brothels are identifiable nationwide by the transparent-pink film that typically covers hair salon sliding glass doors. Such hair salons usually operate in small clusters, hence forming a "district." The term "Pink Light District" is a neologism directly attributable to, and first seen in print in, the book CHINA: Portrait of a People (Tom Carter, 2008), which features in part a series of revelational photographs of various pink-light districts across China, the first published book ever to do so. The term is not, however, commonly used by the Chinese themselves.
