Dish Pit

Noun. A place in which you clean dishes, glasses, pots and pans. You slave and sweat over the steam of the dish washer. Contains a sprayer, dishwasher, dirty stuff rack, drain on the floor, three sinks (wash, rinse, sanitize) and the kitchen bitch. Greasy, grimy, slime infested, gives you zits kind of place. If you work here you're put at the bottom of the employment chain and get ragged on.

Hey slacker, get the fuck back to the dish pit.

A dish pig is a person who works in the kitchen of any industry, but does anything but cooking. i.e. cleaning dishes, cooking equipment, floors etc.
Usually student Chefs.
