Dereck

A man whom is very intelligent. At first, he seems shy, but earn his friendship and see otherwise. He is tall, but not the tallest around. He cares so much about others that he may forget himself. A Dereck is also very humorous, trying to turn a bad situation better. He will do nearly anything to protect ones he is close to. But this man almost always feels like something bad will happen. He will keep his feelings to himself to protect himself from humiliation, or making someone worry for him or about something else.

Dereck is a great friend! But he always seems worried....

derack

A term used to describe an incident in which one has been screwed over, injured, robbed, or generally anything negative. Originates from the gym, where a "derack" is when someone removes your weights from the bar while one is still performing the exercise.

Example 1:
Bob: What happened during 9/11?
Carl: Oh nothing, just Al-Qaeda deracked New York City in a solidly executed derack.
Bob: How many lives were deracked?
Carl: 2,996 lives were deracked, to be exact.

Example 2:
George: What's wrong with your cousin's leg?
Sukhbinder: Oh, it got deracked by an IED in Iraq.
George: Oh.

Example 3:

Horatio: What happened to that jewelry store?
Jose: $300,000 worth of jewelry was deracked by a bunch of Colombians, who pawned it off for some premium coke.

Derick

The most well rounded and talented guy you'll ever meet. Great at so many things, incredibly nice, and extremely passionate. He loves to joke around, but will be the most serious person in the room if the situation requires. He also enjoys taking charge of situations to make them as successful as possible.

A Derick is a nice but serious guy, he different and uniqe compared to others. He doesnt smile often but when he does it makes everyone in the room feel happy. He is a very smart and intellegent guy. He can be a loner but will warm up to you over time.
