When a Danish person uses a combination of patriotism and limited knowledge of the non-Danish world to explain Danish society to a foreigner. This foreigner may be a tourist or a resident immigrant.

"Here in Denmark, we eat Danish rye bread. All of the children eat it every day. I don't know why and we don't think about it. That's just the way it is."

"Here in Denmark, all women hold jobs and work as equals to the men" is a dansplanation because it assumes that someone from another country or culture has a different experience.

DanPlan

DanPlan is a YouTube channel that has recently hit 2 million subscribers as of December 2019, but now their sub count is dropping by the day. The channel consisted of: Daniel, Hosuh, and Stephen as the three that would appear in every video, but as of January 2020 Stephen has left.

Completely and utterly amazing, really sweet and will have you thinking of how good he is to you all the time and how you probably dont deserve him. Very smart and hard working. he is really funny, and not just in the "im-only-laughing-because-you-are-cute"way. has a great taste in music and fashion. An amazingly soothing voice, so good you find yourself not wanting to end a conversation with him. he has a beautiful smile. he is open to talk to and compassionate, might have a temper from time to time but he apologizes well mannered and also very handsome, the perfect definition of beauty and brains. his personality attracts a lot of people and its hard to let go but he somehow finds a way to make you feel special.
p.s he is also "pluck-out-your-eyes" annoying but you love him anyway.
