DPhil

Equivalent to a PhD, DPhil is particularly used in some British and Commonwealth universities. It stands for 'Doctor in Philosophy' and is typically the highest awarded degree in academia. DPhil's typically take anywhere from 3-6 or even more years of graduate study.
