Comes from Wild Cuttlefish changing half of their camouflage, the bit facing another male, to female colours while putting on an amazing colour display on the side facing the female. This is so they can mate easily without fighting with other males.

I went out with all my female friends from work last night, to a cocktail bar talking about summer clothes, babies and relationships I was proper cuttlefishing tying to get in their pants.
