To butt text someone.
Very similar butt dialing.
Butt dialing(i.e. your phone is in your pocket or bag and it rubs in a certain way that dials a persons phone number, that you did not intend to call.)
Reason we say butt texting or butt dialing is because when smart phones first came out alot of the time people would put it in there back pocket (where your butt is) and if it rubbed a certain way, it would sometimes send a call out. That's is the reason why we refer to it as butt dialing/texting.
Example of a buttxt:
Your phone is in your pocket or bag and it rubs in a certain way that it sends a text to a person you were not intending to text.

You get an odd text from someone, a bunch of gibberish...or you just talked to then and the text doesn't jive with the conversation. You may reply through call but most likely through text "did you just buttxt me?"
