A person who abstains from any foods of animal origin, making an exception for brie cheese, which is the nectar of the gods.

Bill: "Hey, is that a cheese plate?"
Jane: "Wait a minute, I thought you said you went vegan!"
Bill: "Not vegan. Briegan!"
