Brand Geek

Someone who is obsessed with brands on clothing, ranging from top designer brands to unknown designers. They will look at a tag and go, "Oh..of course you should like it..it's a shirt from LMBD!".
Most of the times, they don't even know that whatever's on the tag isn't a top designer, and assume that every tag inside a clothing that says a company is a major designer. They go twice as crazy if they see the tag lists an actual top known designer company like Juicy Couture or Ralph Lauren or something and go triple crazy if it's on sale. An example of a brand geek is my mom, probably what several moms are.
Mom: Hey this top is nice..
Me: Uh..it's all ruffled with pink flowers and it looks like something only grandma would wear.
Mom: Look! It's from BRTC Fashyuns!
Me: Who are they?
Mom: Big designers of course.

later..
Mom: Hey look..a nice jacket!
Me: Mom, it's pale pink. Doesn't really go with my tone and not one of my favorite colors..plus it's like three sizes larger, and it has these weird polka dots and little cat buttons.
Mom: I know! So pretty huh! Especially the little cat buttons..Ooh look it's from OSA"
Me: Um..who?
Mom: A really good company..
Me: *in head: mom you're a brand geek. no offence.*

Band Geek

A person who is in band and affiliates with band. Spends most of their time in the band room doing scales sheets, practicing their instrument/music, doing nothing at all, or better yet... To piss off the band director. Often talks about band related things, mostly awesome composers and pieces ever made. Can be random at times, talking about CSI, Les Mis (Best Musical Ever Made!), House, DCI, etc. Also loves to make videos of themselves or other band geeks. These videos are often recorded at band fundraisers, the band room, football games, or around school campus. If things in the band room get boring, a band geek tends to mess around with the band director's van or car. Band geeks can be some of the the coolest people you'll ever meet.
John: Hey Tom! How was Band Camp?

Tom: It was like Band Geek Heaven!

Band Geek

Band geeks are the coolist people you could ever know. The band room is their home away from home, they're there in the morning before school, when they should be in their other classes, for band, and after school. They often are in many different bands such as marching band, jazz band, and concert band. They go to every football and basketball game, not to watch their school teams win, but to be in pep band and often times play better than the sports teams. They usualy date other band geeks, or orch dorks, and hate those chior kids.
Those band geeks play better than the football team.
I'm such a band geek, I'm at school 2 hours before it starts, 4 days a week so I can be in jazz band, have advanced band every day in 5th period, and on Wed. I have sax lessons!

Band geek

a person who...
is either in the highest band or cried when they didn't make the highest band

has the maturity level of a 5 year old, or maybe a 7 year old on good days

finds ways to incorporate band/marching band into school presentations
embraces the fact that marching band/band is called a cult because it is a cult and they love it and can't image their lives without it
20 minutes before school starts...

'normal' kid: hey. I'm tired. I hate life.

'normal' kid: hey. Me too. School sucks

band geek: *walks into band room, gets shot by nerf gun* Oh hey guys! So I was practicing last night and at measure 47...

murderhobo

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.

Steve: I'd like to roll a strength check against strangling the orphan.
Dave: I call dibs on the dog.
DM: You murderhobos disgust me.

In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.

Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.

A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.
"Shit...the sales director chewed me out on the sales call this morning. He's totally pissed that I have nothing in my pipeline. I've been focused on this one whale for so long that I haven't had time to prospect for normal-sized deals."
