talking bollocks

1. Lying

2. Conversation of a generally unproductive nature. May or may not be the product of advanced ethanolic refreshment. Inane drivel; fatuous twaddle; mindless poppycock. Extended bollocks-talking symposia in public houses are one of the most beloved pastimes of the British proletariat, along with consumption of alcoholic beverages and giving each other a thorough kicking.

3. Closely related to the previous definition, any speech that is essentially devoid of meaning but aims to give an impression of deep meaning by a string of buzzwords, technical jargon, extreme polysyllabicity, and so on. Very popular in management, PR, advertising, alternative health, and other fields of employment with a high concentration of wankers.

2. He was talking bollocks for hours about how shitty drivers T. rexes would be because their little arms couldn't work the indicators.

3. He was talking bollocks for hours about restructuring the core operating principles in line with new concepts in holistic brand management via microinfluencers.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
