n. slang. (Also bayarean, Bay Arean | eng. Bay Area + an|) A native of Northern California's Bay Area. Specifically, a native not from San Francisco or Oakland.

I'm originally from Indiana, which makes me a Hoosier; Rich was born in San Jose and raised in the South Bay suburbs. He's an honest-to-god Bayarian.

In The Illuminatus Trilogy (novels by Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea), character Simon Moon carries out a Bavarian fire-drill.
