baeddel

Baeddel is the etymological root of bad. Originally meaning "a queer or effeminate man or hermaphrodite" people forgot all about the original meaning. Just as if everyone forgot that calling someone queer had anything to do with being gay and just began using it for its derogatory connotation. Later on trans women began calling themselves Baeddels as part of a feminist movement meant to reclaim their history sometime around 1990. Around 2016 when various tumblr users encountered real feminists trying to revive parts of an ancient indigenous language it went about as well as anyone could have expected. They should have just invented a xenogender.

Trans woman: I've been reading a lot about baeddels and I think I should start calling myself one because I'm tired of being called a man hating rapist child molestor.

Bamd is a term invented by Dallon Weekes, vocalist for the bamd I don't know how but they found me, often abriviated idkhbtfm or idk how, an obscure bamd consisted of the mentioned vocalist and ryan seaman it's a cooler way of saying "band"
