A stupid phrase that is used, commonly on Instagram, to give the false reality that you can wake up and choose which "life" you want to live. Perhaps you want to be a lazy dog, or a human facing the challenge of whether to have avocado on toast or a green smoothie for breakfast. Either way, it's got to be the best (breakfast) life you could possibly be living.

1. During the Bachelorette season finale Rachel Lindsay, told Peter Kraus, that she made the right decision in saying goodbye to him. While sitting down with Chris Harrison, Peter apologized to Rachel for saying that a life without him would be “mediocre.” Rachel responded and told him that she’s definitely not living a mediocre life. “I’m living my best life,” she said.

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
